Hand Blowing Your Own Glass Globes
 

The pictures do not do it justice.  Pictures do not capture the fun of blowing glass.

 It doesn't capture their essence, but when you see these glass globes - or glaskolben, as they're known in Germany - you'll see how cool they are.  They make beautiful ornaments or sun-catchers that reflect the light. 

You'll learn how to blow your own glass globes, using different colors of glass, varying designs and creating various shapes. 

We supply all the globes and materials to make 20  globes.

$95 includes all materials and gas.

After you know the art of Blowing Globes, you may want to try the

REAL glass blowing. 

Classes are taught by a master Glass Blower in El Segundo.  He will teach you how to blow drinking glasses, goblets, bowls, plates, vases, etc.

What you'll learn:

1. Safety first

2. How to blow a funny shape (that cannot be helped)

3. How to make the shape look more like a globe

4. Blowing globes with colored glass

5. Adding stringers and color glass to the outside of the globe.

6. Making or stretching the glass into different shapes

7.  Adding more color by painting the glass.

You'll complete and go home with up to 25 globes.
